Qigong (or Chikung as it is sometimes spelled) is one of the branches of Chinese Medicine and is unique in teaching practices for self-healing. It uses the same principles as acupuncture but the individual himself uses his own physical movements, breathing and mental focus to balance and heal his own body and mind.
Qigong contains a whole spectrum of practices from the very simple to the quite complicated. You can be sure that there is something that everyone can practise which will be of great benefit to them in maintaining health and actually increasing their level of well-being.
