Medical qigong is part of Chinese Medicine and used to treat specific illnesses or to maintain health. Tai ji (tai chi) is one example of a qigong which is also an effective martial art. There are many qigongs which are short and easy to learn. Qigong can involve slow moving forms like tai ji or motionless forms which are more like meditation.
